The UCSC Police Department provides emergency response, criminal investigation, and safety-related training and information to the campus community.

  • To report a crime in progress, call 911

  • Criminal activity may also be reported by calling the UCSC Police Department (831.259.2231), visiting the station, or completing an online report

  • The Police Department’s Anonymous tip line is 831.459.3847

On-campus appointments are available during regular business hours, and can be scheduled by calling 831.502.2273, by visiting the website, or by emailing care@ucsc.edu. Advocates from CARE’s community partner, Monarch Services, can be reached 24/7 at 888.900.4232


The Slug Support Team encourages contact from anyone concerned about a student’s well-being or ability to cope
