The UCSC Police Department provides emergency response, criminal investigation, and safety-related training and information to the campus community.

  • For emergency assistance, call 911

  • To report a crime in progress, call 911

  • Criminal activity may also be reported by calling the UCSC Police Department (831.259.2231), visiting the station, or completing an online report

  • The Police Department’s Anonymous tip line is 831.459.3847

The Slug Support Team encourages contact from anyone concerned about a student’s well-being or ability to cope

  • To report a concern about a student experiencing distress related to social, mental health, physical, financial, and / or academic issues, members of the campus community may call 831.459.4446, or email deanofstudents@ucsc.edu
