Sexual Harassment and Sexual Violence

The Title IX Office investigates violations of the University's policies regarding sexual harassment and sexual violence. They also provide education and training to encourage a bias- and harassment-free work and learning environment.

The CARE (Campus Advocacy, Resources, and Education) Program responds to the needs of students, staff, faculty and non-affiliates impacted by stalking, dating/domestic violence and sexual assault by providing free and confidential advocacy and support. The CARE website includes detailed information about services provided, how to contact CARE staff, office hours, and scheduling options.

Respondent Support Services for Non-Academic Employees

Respondent Services provides information to staff employee respondents alleged to have engaged in sexual misconduct (sexual assault, sexual violence, sexual harassment, dating/violence, or stalking).

Respondent Services assists a respondent with navigation of the applicable University complaint, investigation and/or adjudication processes, including explanation of each of these processes and the rights associated with them.

Respondent Services provides counseling and/or psychological service referrals through the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and to other available campus and community resources.

This service is not confidential. The designated staff members who provide respondent support services are required to notify the proper University authorities whenever an incident of sexual misconduct is reported.
